It has been on my list since I saw the Sex and the City episode “No Ifs, Ands or Butts” aired 18 years ago, in which Carrie confessed Miranda was having a crush on Aidan and they were both sitting on a bench outside this bakery eating cupcakes.
My spontaneous mini-tour included an official photo in front of Carrie’s apartment and the most unbelievable surprise even for myself. That day Sarah Jessica Parker was shooting a commercial for the brand Intimissimi in the same street and I had the chance to see her. I was in complete shock, it is not a secret that I’m a big fan of SATC.

Even my friend Greg James a.k.a @latajiadita couldn’t believe it. Earlier, before all this happened, I was joking that I’d see her one day. I wasn’t counting that my wish would come true just a few minutes later.
Back to the cupacake story….
It took me exactly 18 years to make my mini SATC tour that included a visit to Magnolia Bakery and order the famous “Carrie Cupcake” as they call it.
This cupcake tasted better than I expected. The frosting, the cupcake itself, so spongy and flavourful; everything was on point. Definitely the fluffiest cupcake so far. Cheers to that!
